No comment from me other than thank you! But, I am wondering if juicing can be part of a fast, or does it count as a “food”? Will it break a fast?

Hi Ann,
Juice fasting can be a great way to get nutrients in without overwhelming your digestion. I will use this periodically but not as much as other types. Due to the fiber/sugars, etc the words juice “fast” are a bit deceiving. It’s what I call more of a pseudo-fast. Any nutrients going in could cause one to not get the full benefits of autophagy, which is one of the main reasons to fast. Thank you for reading and great question!
